I will be teaching five classes at Quilter's Stash in Windsor, CO.
The Simple Path to Straight Line Quilting
The trend of modern quilts, with large areas of “negative space”, has created new interest in straight line quilting and crosshatching. Both are impressive to behold, but neither is difficult to achieve when you know the tools and tricks. Come learn the methods involved and how to create amazing geometric designs by quilting simple lines.
Beyond Traditional Feathers
Beautiful feathers are a mainstay of free-motion quilters everywhere, but sometimes you find yourself ready for something a little different. In this class, you will learn how to build feathering skills to include new shapes and styles of feathers. Then, you’ll learn to easily customize them to your quilting projects, both as all over designs and in designated spaces.
Longarm Toy Box
Buying a longarm machine is only the first step toward successful quilting. Wait until you see what these nifty gadgets and accessories can do to make your quilting even more accurate, faster, easier and more fun! Come see why you’ll be reaching for these tools again and again, and always with a smile!
New Kids on the Block
Handi Quilter continually adds new rulers to the line-up and you will welcome them with open arms. Come learn about their features, how to use them and what you can accomplish with this cadre of handy new rulers. Sized to fit your hand and designed to make ruler work easier, you’ll be reaching for these rulers again and again!
Progressing with Pro-Stitcher
After you’ve mastered dropping block designs and quilting edge to edge with the HQ Pro-Stitcher, you’re now ready to expand and strengthen your skills. This class focuses on in-depth aspects of specific functions of the HQ Pro-Stitcher. Learn how to create continuous border and corner designs; easily digitize your own designs using the features under the Record menu; and quilt on-point designs and areas larger than the throat-space of your machine.
