Hollyhock Quilt
I’m so excited to share this quilt that I’ve been working on for my eldest daughter, Holly, as a Christmas gift. I’m honor of her name, I picked up this hollyhock pattern and fabric from Laura Heine/Fiberworks. The fun fabrics like a New York Public Library text print and some bright pastel roses remind me of Holly!
My husband has been interested in learning to longarm — which I’m just thrilled about! — so I loaded this up on my Handi-Quilter Infinity and let him do an edge-to-edge. I’d say he did pretty well for his first go ‘round! He did have an excellent teacher, if I do say so myself.
An oversized double with bright pastel hollyhocks, this quilt will be perfect in the springtime!
