Yellow Dresden Plate Quilt
Hello, fabulous friends! Happy to be sharing this longarm piece I finished a few months back.
I just adore Dresden plates. I think they look great and leave so much room for creative quilting. I found this beautiful vintage quilt top years ago at a yard sale or thrift store. The plates are actually made of flour sack!
I quilted the top on my Handi-Quilter Infinity. Inside the circles I did some cross-hatch ruler work. In the negative space between plates I used Susan Mandry’s “Sunflower Love” longarm pattern. It’s one of my favorites!
