Sapphire Baby Quilt

Thrilled to share this recent project! Just a few weeks ago, this quilt made its way to a sweet family awaiting a little baby boy. I used batiks from Connecting Threads in varying deep blues to make striking pinwheels. As always, this baby quilt would be incomplete without some Shannon Fabrics cuddle on the back. I used a smooth texture this time which really shows off the quilting pattern I chose to highlight the piecing and create some real soft, distinct pillowing. The top was hand pieced by me then quilted on my Handi Quilter Infinity longarm.
